For Children

If you are in an abusive relationship, have left an abusive relationship or are considering leaving, one of your primary concerns will be the effect on your children. Domestic violence has an impact on children, even when we hope or believe we have sheltered them from the sounds and sights.

Womanshelter/Compañeras recognizes that each child in a family may react differently to the emotional and physical violence occurring in the home. We have the expertise to help you help your child or the child of someone you know.

For more information call our Children’s Advocate at (413) 536-4165. In addition we encourage you to visit our recommended resource links for more information.
